Perchance to dream

Eureka took a different stab at the old “it was all a dream” plot device. It’s hard to do anymore without leaving an ugly taste in the viewers’ mouths. I have mixed feelings about how they handled it. The denouement more or less made up for leading us around by the nose for half an hour, and the writers were really playing a devious game with us no matter how it played out in the end. An okay episode, one of the more heartfelt ones in the final analysis, but still a bit of a gimmick.

Not at all displeased by the eviction from Big Brother last night. A little surprised by who all got behind the vote—one person in particular. It’ll be interesting to see who becomes the next HoH and where the game goes now that this little distraction is gone. I can think of one more person who should be evicted post-haste to completely change the tenor of the house.
