Evel Dick

I tackled editorial revisions to my story Popup Killer this morning. Got most of the way through the suggestions from Apex. About 90% of them I accepted—only quibbled over a few that are stylistic. I have a couple of plot issues to handle before I send it back in again.

I also have to produce a 6-800 word intro to another article some time this week/weekend. I’d really like to get both of those off my desk before the end of the month.

Evel Dick surprised me on Big Brother 8…by not surprising me. He went the traditional route and chose the most obvious replacement nominee, contrary to the big buildup. For a second, though, I thought he was going to nominate his daughter, the way he said her name.

Looks like we’re heading back into the rainy season again, with a tropical wave coming in at us off the Gulf of Mexico. It’s been fairly dry the past several days. The lawn is badly in need of mowing, since I didn’t cut it while I was away last weekend (duh).
