Horror World posted a nice review of Into the Dreamlands. “Into The Dreamlands is an outstanding collection stuffed full of stories that are sure to keep the reader awake well into the night.” Skipping ahead to the good bits: “Before The Fall by Bev Vincent and Dreams, Wholesale by A.C. Wise were the two stories that were the most fun to read of the collection. Bev Vincent spins a richly developed tale of a man plagued by horrifically vivid dreams of falling that reads like a classic Twilight Zone episode.” Mr. Kroeger can expect a little something extra under the Christmas tree this year.
My new story is wending its way toward Maine—it’s aimed at an anthology calledThat Mysterious Door. The received-by deadline is Saturday and the anthology is getting close to full, so it’s a shot in the dark, but my first reader thought it was strongly influenced by Ray Bradbury, which I’m not going to complain about.
This morning I revised and polished my Storytellers Unplugged essay. I’m also considering recording it for a podcast version which will be available via iTunes. If that works out, I may go back and record some of my older essays.
