    saw Inside Man: Most Wanted. Its a sequel to the one with Cliwe Owen, Jodie Foster and Denzel Washington. Its a similar bankheist as in the first movie but without really great actors in the leads. Still quite decent and worth seeing if you like bankheist movies.

    Just saw The Guns Of Navarone with Gregory Peck, David Niven and Anthony Quinn in the leads supported by Irene Papas, Anthony Quayle and James Darren and Richard Harris. It holds up very well. It is 64 years since it was made but it doesn't really show much. Saw it on national tv and thought i ought to take the opportunity.

    A respected doctor accidentally takes experimental pills containing vampire bat blood, it causes a metamorphosis.......

    Enjoyable 1950's romp, good cast.



    Rewatched, The Return Of Dracula...

    Dracula flees his homeland and after killing an artist aboard a train adopts his identity and travels to the man's distant relatives in America....

    Another enjoyable 50's flick....

    Re-watched The Awakening. 

    An archaeologist uncovers a tomb, the spirit of the mummy possess his newborn daughter......

    A slow dull movie, devoid of any suspense or horror. A good cast with nothing to do.

    Watched Lucy with Scarlett Johansson and Morgan Freeman in the leads but its really Scarletts show from start to finish. An action movie directed by Luc Besson (He knows how to do this well) and its not just the action its actually a bit interesting too. Liked this one. A band of ruthless South Korean baddies fill out the cast.

    Rewatched Clear and Present Danger with Harrison Ford on Netflix. A bit messier than i remembered. Not bad and Ford certainly does his bit but i thought the direction was a bit too hoppity-hoppity.

    rewatched King King. Peter Jacksons remake with Naomi Watts, Jack Black and Adrian Brody. It has stunning visuals but is way too long. Still it could have been much better but i guess Jackson was in a bit of Hubris after the stunning success of his Lord of the Rings movies so he forgot to cut certain parts and just threw everything and the kitchen sink in. The result is over 3 hours long. At least 45 minutes, maybe an hour ought to have been left on the cutting room floor. Watts is a good Fay Wray though.

    Not a movie, but I was lucky enough to attend this play last weekend, The Shark Is Broken, it's about the three lead actors in Jaws sitting in the boat waiting for the mechanical shark to be repaired. It was written by and stars Ian Shaw the son of Robert Shaw who played Quint in the movie. It was absolutely fantastic, laugh out loud funny, and poignant too, a touching tribute to his father. The cast of three were equally excellent, Shaw is so like his father it was almost like watching the man himself up on stage. Aa soon as it was over I wanted to see it again. Hopefully at some point during its run they filmed a complete performance 🙏🤞

    sigh. Hey. I am all for women controlling their sexuality and doing what they want.  And I think nicole Kidman is a terrific actress, but she is becoming a one trick pony with her creative choices. Always odd, always very sexual. Where’s the range actors always harp about? She is so predictable. 

    Boring movie.
